Also called "Green Pearls" (Zhucha), Gunpowder is one of the most popular green teas in China and one of the first qualities exported back in the early seventeenth century. It is made up of whole leaves and rolled into tiny pellets. Our import quality has a neat, tightly-rolled leaf with a medium bodied cup. The liquor is a greenish golden color and the flavor is mild and slightly sharp. Subject to global limited availability.
